After School Drumming Program by Groove & Grow Academy
This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Rock & Pop drumming patterns and mechanics.
Through hands-on exercises and activities, students will explore various drum kits and percussion instruments while learning to play the drums.
Drumming Program Details:
Class Duration: 30 minutes - 1 hour
Cost: $300 per 1 hour class
Capacity: up to 15 students per class (customizable with classroom space)
Various program length options are available, and programs are fully customizable for your specific school site. Programs can range from 1-day introductory courses, 4-8 week mini programs, or weekly after-school programs that run the entirety of a school year.
Students will acquire practical drumming skills including, but not limited to:
recognizing and memorizing beats and patterns
timing and rhythm
coordination of hands and feet
developing musical listening and response abilities
creating and maintaining beats and grooves
improvisation
Drumming lessons instill valuable academic and life skills, setting the stage for success in various subjects and real-life situations.
Creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and communication are just some of the skills that students will develop in drumming to enhance their overall academic performance and well-being.
Students will have the opportunity to further build their confidence and showcase their new skills in public settings by performing at school events, open houses, arts nights, and talent shows.
